About Me

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor trained in EMDR, Yoga Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness therapies. I work with clients from a person-centered, feminist, multi-cultural perspective. I believe we are all experts on ourselves and the answers we are seeking are right within our reach. I provide a safe, empowering, judgement-free space for you to explore what is causing discomfort. I believe therapy can be brief and focused on building solutions to assist you in making the changes you want to live a life you feel excited about.

Clients often find themselves reaching out to me when they feel as though they have tried a lot of options. “I have a lot of skills but I can’t seem to put them in to place.” I have a strong belief that skills and tools are wonderful but often we need to look inward or float-back in time to identify the “why” or the “how we started” to believe these things in-order-to see the changes we are hoping for in our daily lives. EMDR, Yoga Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness are all evidence based practices. I use all of these modalities collaboratively to assist in creating the best outcomes possible. I find these specific techniques help people to feel more whole and hopeful for their futures and also create space for lasting change.

I have a passion for working with women, young adults and their parents, athletes, outdoor enthusiasts, and people who are passionate about the natural world. I am happy to integrate adventure therapy (hiking, biking, skiing, climbing, running) into therapy for those interested in this type of experience. I also offer in/out of home family and parent counseling. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions.
